Bastion Falls 2017
My first waterfall shoot on my trip. This is Bastion Falls - the lower falls to the famous Kaaterskill.
It is September and the water is running low. I photographed this site from at least 4 vantage points, this being the last. At the kiosk - distant right - are two climbers I am to meet later on up at Kaaterskill. From this vantage point I am able to capture the poetic meanderings of the water over the rocks.
