It appears to be Spring,

We have had quite a spell of cold to the bone weather. Although the numbers on the official thermometers are not extreme, the impact of another 31 degree day on my psyche feels to be nearly fatal.

So I root around in my files for a rescue-by-spring. Not sure this mere image can break through to my once soft center, but it is at least some evidence that the factors necessary -- might still exist.
